(vii) Item 12.4 – Ontario Community Environment Fund Grant Application – Unsuccessful Funding Request:

The Municipality applied to the 2025 Ontario Community Environment Fund (OCEF) for the Temagami Waterfront Invasive Species Control Project, which proposed the control of invasive Eurasian watermilfoil in Lake Temagami. The application was not selected for funding. The Ministry of the Environment, Conservation and Parks advised that applications were evaluated based on criteria including technical merit, community benefit, and environmental benefit.
