A fire in the mainland forest on Temagami Island on July 14, 2016, occurred on a very windy day when the soil and forest was very dry. With the assistance of the TLA radio service volunteers were able to attend with fire pumps and person power. Three hours later the fire was out. The Fall Times will have a full report.
