Please join us for the 2023 TLA Summer BBQ. Here are the details:

Date: Saturday, July 22, 2023 (rain date: Sunday, July 23^rd)

Time: Noon to 2:30 p.m.

Location: TLA Headquarters Building front lawn

Boat Docking: TLA docks and Manitou Landing docks

Food: BBQ fare – including vegetarian options + non-alcoholic drinks

BYOC: “Bring Your Own Chairs”

The Lake Temagami “Shoreline Clean-Up Challenge” 2023 Has Begun …

To participate, all you have to do is …

Pick up junk on the Lake Temagami shoreline or in the lake.
Take a photo, and e-mail it to tla@onlink.net.
Dispose of the junk appropriately.

TLA President, Paul Tamburro, springs into action when he spots junk in the Lake.

Paul shows how it’s done.

Prizes will be awarded in these 6 categories:

most trash picked up (by weight or volume)
the most unique item
oldest piece of trash
most useful trash (or is it treasure?)
largest single item (you may need a barge to get it to the transfer station)
general raffle

Update to Temagami Waste-Disposal Hours (Starting on July 2, 2023)

Based on the recent Transfer Station Survey results, the Municipality of Temagami is making additional changes to the Waste Transfer Station hours at the Lake Temagami Access Point and the Town Welcome Centre.

Please see the attached hours. These hours will commence on Sunday, July 2, 2023.

The survey will be ongoing, and they plan to revisit the results again in the early fall.
